The Siren Song of the Portable Sauna for Sale: What to Look for When Buying a Far Infrared Sauna

Posted by

If you are seeking a portable sauna for sale, then  you are likely looking for a  far infrared one.  That is because the traditional steam sauna that you might encounter at a gym or health club is not typically  portable. It can’t be, because the steam-producing element is not something that can easily be transported from place to place.

If it is indeed a  far infrared sauna that you desire, you probably want it for the many health benefits that it provides which the steam version does not.  For some people, the fact that it can be easily moved around is also high on the list of reasons to buy.  But you shouldn’t just get the first one that you see advertised because there  are the certain  qualities in a portable far infrared sauna for which you should look for.

Warranty Protection, Installation, and Delivery

Just as there are is a wide range of prices with the various far infrared saunas on the market, there are also all sorts of perks that you can get between them.  For instance, one portable sauna might advertise free delivery, installation, or both. Some might include warranty protection, though the length of that protection may vary.

If you can find a portable sauna for sale that offers free delivery, installation, and  a generous warranty, then you should jump on it. However, keep in mind that if you want all three then it is likely you’re going to be paying for a midrange to high-end sauna.

Carbon versus Ceramic

You should also look at the heating elements offered by the different sauna companies. Far infrared saunas that are cheaper use ceramic coils or rods, but these don’t last as long. The ones that are better constructed and can last for years are made  with carbon components.

The ones with the carbon elements heat up faster, and you get a better distribution of heat. That means there aren’t spots that feel either too hot or too cold that ruin what otherwise would be a pleasurable experience. You can also feel fine about leaning up against the carbon panels, and that is not the case with the ceramic ones. The ceramic ones get hot enough that you can burn yourself if your bare skin comes in contact with them. .

Portable saunas for sale are by no means created equal, and you should look at customer reviews, the materials out of which each part of the sauna is made, and most especially the warranty before you buy. With something of this nature, it’s also not a bad idea to see if there is an extended warranty that is offered either by the seller or the manufacturer.

This is an investment on your part, and you don’t want your portable sauna to only be usable for a few weeks or months. You want to get a better quality one with a reasonable warranty that you’ll be able to enjoy for years.
