Everybody Is Excited About Infrared Sauna Weight Loss

Infrared sauna weight loss is the theory of sweating out unwanted fat without having to work out exclusively on a treadmill or elliptical.. If you want to maintain a healthy weight for a better quality of life, than perhaps consider your next purchase to be a JNH Lifestyles infrared sauna.

What’s Infrared Sauna Weight Loss?

Everybody likes to be pampered, so why not combine that relaxation in a leisurely environment with weight loss benefits? Sitting in a sauna after a workout, or in general, can help you shift the weight off. A sauna, especially an infrared sauna, helps you to burn more calories than a traditional sauna since it works with more advanced technology.

Infrared heat therapy is more effective than the coal or wood method found in traditional saunas which only heat the air that surrounds you. An infrared sauna heats the body directly to help the body burn fat cells that are deep in the skin’s epidermis. So, if somebody asks you, “do saunas help you lose weight?” Tell them it does, but more specifically they will have a better experience with an infrared sauna for weight loss.

How Do You Burn Calories In A Sauna?

When you are examining the effects of how a sauna burns fat, you have to put into the equation hyperthermic conditioning. Hyperthermic conditioning means that you are conditioning the body to be more exposed to higher temperatures. Hyperthermic conditioning is when you allow your body to adapt to heat, which is a self-supporting type of heat and not from any physical activity.

Normally, if you do any form of aerobic exercise, the body’s core temperature will increase. This happens simply because you are moving your body. However, when you are hyperthermically conditioning the body, you are trying to achieve the same response but without the actual activity. Sitting in an infrared sauna raises the core body temperature resulting in weight loss and many other health benefits you can achieve in conjunction with exercise.

If you want more understanding on how a sauna can burn fat, you have to understand the way an infrared sauna builds a generalized tolerance to physiological stress when it tries to adjust itself to heat. When the body is exposed to a lot of heat, an adaptation process happens at a cellular and metabolic levels.

How Does An Infrared Sauna Burn Fat In Your Blood?

The #1 cause of death in America is cardiovascular issues such ascoronary heart disease, arrhythmia and myocardial infarction heart disease. High blood pressure and cholesterol are contributors. People with high cholesterol can gain assistance in breaking down the waxy substances in the body’s blood with consistent infrared sauna sessions which increases the blood flow and plasma volume. When your body has more heat, the blood vessels dilate, and the body receives more blood flow. This helps individuals who suffer from clog arteries to receive more blood to the heart and ultimately reduces blood pressure and coronary stress.

What Are Heat Shock Proteins?

Not only does sauna burn calories in the ways mentioned above, but it also has something to do with “heat shock” proteins. Heat shock proteins help with muscle recovery and the body’s metabolism. A heat shock protein is a very safeguarded protein that lies inside the cell of every organism. These proteins sit around in reserved mode waiting to get stimulated by high stress. For instance, if the body starts to experience high heat; hence the name “heat shock” proteins.

When the body is exposed to heat shock, these proteins are set free and protect the folding and unfolding of these various proteins inside of a cell. Within a cell, some proteins fold and unfold on top of one another, which is normal. Heat shock proteins stabilize them and keep them in one place so they have more time to recover when they are exposed to extreme conditions such as high heat.

What Do Scientists Say About Weight Loss In Infrared Saunas?

A study published in The Journal Of Athletic Training used 25 healthy adult participants to find out what would happen to their cardiovascular system, their hormonal system, and general cell structure. The group sat in a sauna unit that was 163°F for some amounts of time and sometimes they had them sit in a place that was 79°F. Obviously, there is an absolute difference between the two temperatures. One being extremely hot (the sauna), while the other is a standard, normal environment.

The participants had to do this for 30 minutes at a time on separate days. After every situation the participant went through, they had their blood tested. Naturally, they found that the body's core temperature increased after they sat inside an infrared sauna. The core temperature increased by 33°F which is a significant increase. Increasing the body temperature is very effective at increasing fatty acid mobilization and lipolysis, which comes down to some epic fat loss.

Also, the researchers found that the participants’ heart rate went up about 22 to 23 beats per minute. This increase in heart rate results in fat loss as well. On top of that, they found a decrease in blood pressure, which means the heart doesn’t have to work so hard to make the blood flow around the body.

Ultimately, just having two 30-minute infrared sauna sessions per week will help you see some incredible weight loss results by shapeshifting the way your body metabolizing itself. When the body can adapt to changes such as extreme heat, it becomes stronger and when the body gets stronger, it becomes better!
