Install An In Home Sauna In Your House

Posted by

Installing a JNH Lifestyles in home sauna allows you to bring the health and wellness advantages of sauna bathing into your own house. Apart from looking and feeling good, home saunas can be an added investment for your property. However, before you go out and purchase one you should learn about different sauna types and what to consider.

What To Consider With An In Home Sauna?

You have probably reached a peak in your research, especially with so many social media posts, and want to join the bandwagon of crusaders that just rave about the joys of owning an infared sauna. And that’s cool and recommendable since you will be reaping all the incredible health benefits in no time.

However, unless you have just got back from a holiday in Finland, where there are more saunas than people, you probably don’t have a clue about saunas, let alone adding one to your home. Although there is some time, effort and money involved, shelling out for an in home sauna can add immense value to your home enhancements. Also, it requires little maintenance while offering a whole range of health benefits.

When you purchase a JNH Lifestyles modular sauna, you have to think about the most suitable place in your home for it. In general, home saunas are usually from 3’ (w) x 4’ (d) x 7’ (h) feet to 6’ (w) x 4’ (d) 7’ (h) When you select a location for your at-home far infrared sauna, try to find a place where the floor is flat, avoids moisture and you can easily gain access to a regular electrical outlet (for our smaller units) or a dedicated 20amp outlet (for our larger units) .

A misconception about saunas at home is that it requires a lot of maintenance similar to swimming pools and hot tubs. However, we want to make this clear that saunas rarely need maintenance. Apart from the occasional floor cleaning, you can leave saunas by themselves. Additionally, all JNH Lifestyles’ sauna parts are easily replaceable!

Conventional Saunas VS Infrared Saunas

No matter what heat source it uses, a conventional sauna usually has temperatures that range between 180°Fto 195°F . When ladles of hot water are poured over hot rocks, it produces steam that reduces humidity, which makes the heat within a conventional sauna more tolerable.

Many people find that the heat is usually just too much to bear in a conventional sauna. That’s why an infrared sauna is a better option for those who have a low tolerance to heat. Contradictory to conventional saunas, which usually use wood, gas or electric stoves, infrared saunas use infrared light, which is part of the sun’s light spectrum, to heat the skin. While the infrared sauna is doing this, it is keeping the air inside the unit at a comfortable 70 degrees. Infrared sauna cabins can generate the same amount of sweat or even more than a conventional sauna. Also, they can achieve this faster and at a lower temperature than a conventional sauna.

The Advantages Of Owning a 2 Person Sauna

Many people believe that if they are going to be the only one using the sauna, that they have to go for a 1 person unit. However, this is not necessarily the case. You may like the privacy and compact footprint that a smaller unit can bring. Nonetheless, you may want to think about upgrading to a 2 person sauna unit for the following reasons:

●You do not like boxed up spaces and want a bit more room.

●You might have a friend over who is curious about all the infrared sauna hype (and then comes regularly after experiencing the positive outcome).

●You have mobility problems that make it a challenge for you to get in and out of small spaces, and need more space to maneuver.

Experience Amazing Health Benefits

An infrared sauna will force you to sweat profusely and that is a good thing. Making your body sweat lets it release toxins, improve muscle recovery and helps you shed the pounds fast!

Get Detoxing

One of the main benefits of sweating it out in an infrared sauna is that it can increase your body’s blood circulation and encourage sweat glands to release accumulated toxins in your system. Daily sauna sweating can help you detoxify your body and flush out toxic metals such as lead, nickel, cadmium and mercury, as well as organic and inorganic compounds like alcohol, sulfuric acid, nicotine and others that your body has stockpiled.

Improved Muscle Recovery

Have you ever had those days where you want to go back to the gym, but can’t because of sore and stiff muscles from your workout the day before? An infrared sauna can help you get back to the gym fast, so you don’t have to miss a workout. As mentioned before, an infrared sauna increases the blood circulation which carries metabolic waste products and delivers oxygen-rich blood to depleted muscles, so they recover quicker.

Muscles can relax when the tissues are warm and have better flexibility and range of motion too. The deep heat that is emitted from a far infrared sauna helps peripheral blood vessels dilate, which alleviates pain and heals muscle and soft tissue injuries. Infrared heat also lowers soreness on nerve endings and muscle spasms while muscle joints and fibers are warmed up.

Lose Weight

Based on research and studies conducted by the Journal of the American Medical Association, regular infrared sauna use boosts the body’s cardiovascular system just like running does. The difference is that sitting in a sauna requires less effort, is more enjoyable and is easier on the body’s joints. While you relax in the gentle infrared heat, the body is working vigorously to produce sweat, it is pumping blood and as a result, burning some major calories.

The body increases its sweat production as a natural way to cool itself down, your heart is working harder to pump blood at a massive rate to increase circulation. Both of these increases combined result in your metabolism burning more calories.

Merits Of Buying An In Home Sauna

Never underestimate the power of an in home sauna. Why? Well, because there’s a lot of effectiveness to be had when the body sweats. When the body perspires, it’s in a detoxification process. However, an infrared sauna, in particular, is noted to be extremely effective. So much so, that you may have noticed loads of infrared salons [...]
